Uniswap Q2 financial report: holding $36.81 million in cash/stablecoins and 680,000 UNI, expected to last until the end of 2025
The Uniswap Foundation has released its unaudited quarterly financial summary as of June 30, 2024. The report shows that the foundation currently holds $36.81 million in cash and stablecoins, as well as 680,000 UNI tokens. These funds are expected to last until the end of 2025, with $26.12 million being allocated to funding commitments and incentives, and $10.69 million being used for operational expenses.In the second quarter of 2024, the foundation made new funding commitments of $3.22 million, with $2.48 million already paid out for committed funding.As of June 30, 2024, the foundation has made cumulative funding commitments of $7.55 million this year, with $5.27 million actually paid out.In terms of operations, the foundation incurred $1.6 million in operating expenses (excluding UNI token employee incentives) in the second quarter of 2024, with cumulative operating expenses of $2.63 million for the first half of this year.In addition, the foundation generated $190,000 in other income in the second quarter of 2024, mainly from dividends and interest. The foundation's main expenditure categories include salaries, contracts and professional fees, office expenses, external activities, advertising and marketing, and insurance.
