Democratic campaign 'Crypto for Harris' plans to hold virtual town hall meeting next week
According to Fox Business News, supporters of democracy in the cryptocurrency industry are taking action to prevent former President Trump from monopolizing cryptocurrency votes in this year's fall election. A newly formed advocacy group called "Crypto for Harris" plans to hold a virtual town hall meeting next week in support of Vice President Kamala Harris.Confirmed speakers currently include left-leaning billionaire entrepreneur and cryptocurrency supporter Mark Cuban, SkyBridge Capital founder and Trump critic Anthony Scaramucci, as well as several Democratic congressmen.Several Democratic Senate leaders have also been invited to participate in this public virtual meeting, which will discuss how to support Harris' campaign and promote fundraising plans."Crypto for Harris" currently has about 50 members, with industry participants and policy experts as the main organizers. Meanwhile, Harris has recently added two former cryptocurrency advisors to her campaign team.
