CryptoQuant CEO Stands by Altseason Prediction Despite Macro Headwinds and Market Plunge
Despite the challenging macro headwinds, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju maintains his belief that altcoins could still perform well. He previously predicted that an altseason would begin in late 2024 or early 2025, and he reiterated this week that his prediction was not based on the macro environment. Young Ju explains that his prediction was based on observing strong buy walls from whales in secondary markets, and he will continue to monitor altcoins with whale and smart money accumulation regardless of the macro situation. He also notes that only a few altcoins may stand out if the economy experiences a recession, but those with strong buy walls could see significant upside potential after the crisis.
