Grayscale, Bitwise, and NYSE Seek SEC Approval for Options Trading on Three Spot Ethereum ETFs
Grayscale and Bitwise have jointly submitted a rule change proposal to the U.S. SEC, seeking to list and trade options for Bitwise Ethereum ETF, Grayscale Ethereum Trust, and Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust. The document states that these options will provide investors with an additional and relatively low-cost investment tool, as well as a hedge tool to meet investors' investment needs for Ethereum products and positions. The public comment period for the proposal is 21 days. (The Block) Yesterday, BlackRock and Nasdaq submitted an application for spot Ethereum ETF options to the SEC.
