July L2 report: Base’s new addresses reached 12.7 million, and opBNB, Base, and Arbitrum led in daily transaction volume
Coin98 Analytics, the Layer2 Monthly Report for July 2024 has been released. The report shows that Base has performed outstandingly in terms of new address growth, reaching 12.7 million and ranking first.Regarding daily trading volume, opBNB, Base, Arbitrum, and Linea are leading with 6.7 million, 3.6 million, 1.9 million, and 1 million transactions respectively.
The total trading volume of Base and Blast has grown by over 27%, while opBNB's total trading volume in July exceeded 209 million transactions, almost half of its Q2 2024 total trading volume (429 million transactions).
In terms of total addresses, Optimism maintains its leading position with 155.8 million unique addresses, followed closely by Base and Arbitrum with 97.5 million and 35.7 million addresses respectively.
Regarding TVL, Arbitrum, Base, Blast, and Scroll are ranked in the top four with 3.18 billion, 1.71 billion, 1.18 billion, and 748 million US dollars respectively. It is worth noting that the TVL growth of Scroll and Mantle is significant, with both increasing by 1.8 times and 1.6 times respectively.
In the NFT field, Linea and Base lead in terms of daily new NFT additions in Q2 2024 with 446,000 and 400,000 respectively. In July, Linea added a total of 14 million NFTs, with Base following closely behind with 12 million.
