Consensys appoints former Disney exec Dan Odell as CFO
Consensys has announced the appointment of Dan Odell as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).Odell brings extensive finance and strategic management experience in Web3 technology, consumer applications, gaming, and media industries. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, taxation, finance, strategic financing, and investor relations.Prior to joining Consensys, Odell served at the metaverse technology company Improbable, where he successfully guided the company through a strategic business model transformation. Previously, he worked at The Walt Disney Company for over 15 years, holding various key positions such as Vice President of Global Product Management for Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products division, Chief Financial Officer for Maker Studios, and Chief Financial Officer for mobile gaming, among others.
