The MEV robot operated by Jaredfromsubway.eth launched a new arbitrage and sandwich attack strategy, making a profit of $2 million in ETH
According to The Block, a MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) robot operated by an individual using the pseudonym Jaredfromsubway.eth has recently launched new arbitrage and sandwich attack strategies, reportedly earning millions of dollars worth of ETH.According to a report from MEV tracking website EigenPhi, Jared appears to have abandoned the old contract address in favor of a new one since August 14. The new address has processed over 85,000 transactions, generating profits of around 765 ETH (nearly $2 million at current prices).EigenPhi found that Jared is executing more complex sandwich attacks, including five-layer and seven-layer sandwich attacks, while using multiple victims. These attacks involve front-running and back-running ordinary users' transactions to obtain better prices for the attacker, while causing ordinary users to execute at worse prices.
