Namada: The first stage of pre-genesis has begun
On August 22nd, Namada, a Layer 1 blockchain, announced in a post on X that the pre-genesis stage 1 had begun as part of the mainnet launch plan. Validators can now submit pull requests through official channels. It was also noted that there is currently no deadline set, but at least 4 days' notice will be given.
Previously, the Anoma Foundation released Namada's genesis allocation plan for the Layer 1 blockchain, outlining the genesis process and cryptographic economic mechanism. The proposed total supply is 1 billion NAM, with no lock-up, allocated to the following categories:
- Public distribution (completed RPGF plan) accounts for 16.1088%;
- Public distribution (future RPGF plan) accounts for 16.3355%;
- Protocol maintenance, RD, ecosystem, and community development accounts for 17%;
- Supporters of the Anoma Foundation account for 32.0365%;
- Early core contributors account for 18.5192%.
