An independent miner mined a block worth 3.275 BTC in the early morning, approximately $200,000
Odaily Planet Daily reports that an independent Bitcoin miner successfully mined a Bitcoin block against extremely low odds, netting nearly $200,000. According to data from the Bitcoin block explorer Mempool.space, this miner mined the 858,978th height Bitcoin block at 00:21:58 on August 30 Singapore time. This block contained 2,391 transactions and the miner thus received 3.275 Bitcoins worth $199,094. It's worth noting that Solo CK Pool was responsible for processing this block; it is an independent mining pool whose behavior differs from typical mining pools.
The most recent independently mined block occurred on July 25 when a solo miner solved Block 853,742 and received a reward of approximately $210,000 (Cointelegraph).
