Crypto users find it difficult to interact with decentralized applications (dApps) due to the complexity of Web3 wallets. In addition, some crypto wallets are limited to specific blockchains, making cross-chain asset transfers difficult.
Therefore, we developed Tomo Wallet, an all-in-one social wallet. Tomo Wallet is a highly secure multi-chain social wallet that allows users to easily access the Web3 ecosystem through social credentials. With Tomo Wallet, users no longer need to follow complex technical steps to access dApps.
In this article, we will introduce the features of Tomo Wallet and explain why it is one of the most user-friendly crypto wallets in the Web3 space.
Why Tomo Wallet is the Best Web3 Wallet for Crypto Users
Tomo Wallet enhances the wallet experience by enabling seamless login via users’ social credentials. The multi-chain wallet’s social login feature, industry partnerships, and strong security will make interacting with Web3 dApps easier.
Tomo Wallet is available through the App Store, mobile app from Google Play Store, and Google Chrome extension, with more features to come.
Social Login
Tomo Wallet is equipped with a social login feature that helps users set up a Web3 wallet through their social accounts. Social login improves the wallet's user interface and makes crypto wallets less complicated.
Social login combines the ease of use of Web2 with the security and sovereign asset ownership of Web3, further simplifying online interactions. Tomo Wallet paves the way for an intuitive and familiar Web3 browsing experience by allowing users to log in with their social accounts.
Tomo Wallet extension is now available on Google Chrome. Users can log in to Tomo Wallet with their Google account and use it for all dApp interactions.
Similarly, users can also log in to the Tomo app with their Google, X, Meta, and KakaoTalk accounts. Once logged in, the app automatically creates a Tomo Wallet in the background. So, there is no need to worry about manually setting up a Web3 wallet from the app.
Users can choose to create a Web3 wallet in Tomo Wallet via a mnemonic phrase, or import an existing crypto wallet.
Advanced Financial Applications
Tomo Wallet allows users to seamlessly access features specific to both fiat and cryptocurrencies. For example, fiat can be deposited and converted to cryptocurrencies through Tomo’s deposit feature. This feature is not available in most self-custodial wallets.
Users can swap or cross-chain digital assets from one token to another on multiple chains. Now, users can make token swaps and crypto transfers even easier through their social accounts.
In addition, Tomo Wallet will support users to stake or re-stake directly through Lombard, Babylon and Lorenzo.
Multi-chain asset management
Tomo Wallet is compatible with many blockchain networks:
Mainnets:Arbitrum One, Avalanche, B2 Network, Base, BEVM, Bitcoin, Bitlayer, Blast, BNB Chain, BOB, BounceBit, Cosmos, Ethereum, Linea, Manta, Mantle, Map Protocol, Merlin Chain, opBNB, Optimism, Polygon, SatoshiVM Alpha, Scroll, Sei, Solana, zkSync, ZKBase.
Testnets:B3 Testnet, Berachain, Botanix, Lorenzo, LumiBit Testnet, Tuna Chain, Sepolia Testnet, Babylon Testnet, Bitcoin Signet, Nubit Alpha Testnet.
With Tomo Wallet, users can easily manage their assets, exchange tokens and transfer cryptocurrencies across multiple blockchains.
Strong Security Measures
Tomo provides top-level security features to its wallet through Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology to protect users’ sensitive data.
MPC is a privacy-preserving technology that uses cryptography to process transactions without revealing users’ private information. It is securely stored in multiple destinations through encrypted mnemonics.
Unlike centralized exchange wallets, Tomo Wallet stores information in a sharded and decentralized manner. By leveraging Shamir’s Secret Sharing (SSS), Tomo Wallet splits private keys into multiple shares to reduce redundancy.
Thus, malicious actors cannot steal or misuse user data by hacking into centralized servers.
In addition, Tomo Wallet is migrating to Cubist’s non-custodial wallet infrastructure CubeSigner to protect signing keys in secure hardware. As a result, users’ keys will always remain in hardware when signing transactions, providing a seamless non-custodial experience for Tomo applications and extended wallets.
In addition, CubeSigner’s built-in key export strategy prevents malicious dApps or cross-site scripting vulnerabilities from stealing keys when using Tomo Wallet. Even when using a dApp with Tomo Wallet embedded, there is no need to worry about the security of your keys, unlike other embedded wallets.
With CubeSigner, only you can export your keys, not any third-party applications or attackers.
This strategy requires users to export keys in Tomo Apps and Extended Wallets through two-factor authentication (2FA), implement a mandatory time lock to cancel unauthorized requests, and then complete the key export through 2FA again.
Partnership with Industry Leaders
Users can select Tomo Wallet in our partner dApps and log in to the wallet using their Google account. The wallet is automatically created in the background, providing users with a simple and uncomplicated setup experience.
So far, we have worked with some industry-leading companies, especially in the Bitcoin DeFi space. We have partnered with Babylon, Yala, Bitlayer, Lorenzo, Galxe, Lombard, B3, Stake Stone, Chakra, UniRouter, Rango, Cubist and Nubit, and plans to collaborate with more projects in the coming months.
