Penpie DeFi Protocol on Pendle Platform Hacked, $27 Million in Crypto Assets Stolen
According to crypto experts, Penpie, a DeFi protocol built on Pendle, experienced an attack on Wednesday resulting in the loss of approximately $27 million worth of crypto assets, including staked ether and stablecoins. The attacker allegedly converted the stolen assets to ETH using Li.fi and transferred them to a new address. Blockchain data confirms the exploit and its aftermath.
