Trump’s ‘Underwhelming’ Performance At Tuesday’s Debate Has Led To Harris Becoming The Betting Favourite
The presidential debate between the two candidates turned into a ‘sell-the-news’ event, due to neither candidate making any mention Bitcoin or the digital asset industry. Trump’s performance was also deemed underwhelming by many, which further encouraged a risk-off sentiment toward the markets.
Although neither candidate mentioned crypto during the debate, it has played a significant part in the election campaign so far. It has been reported that Harris’ team has begun reaching out to significant players within the crypto industry. Meanwhile, her rival Trump has made Bitcoin a large part of his campaign thus far, even speaking at the recent Bitcoin 2024 Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
