Google Cloud Plans to Expand Blockchain RPC Service from Ether to More Blockchains
Google Cloud's Blockchain Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Service Is Currently Only Compatible With Ether, But More Blockchains Will Be Supported Soon Google Cloud has launched a Blockchain Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service to make it easier for cryptocurrency developers to interact with blockchain data and to enhance the reliability of decentralized applications (DApps). The new service will initially be compatible with the ethereum mainnet and testnet, with plans to expand to other blockchains over the next year, Google Cloud said in a Sept. 17 blog post. The blockchain RPC service initially launches with a free tier that provides up to 100 invocation requests per second and up to 1 million requests per day, and supports EIP-1474, a set of RPC methods defined for Ether nodes.
