Vitalik Buterin’s Wallet is Active Again: Detected in Onchain Data
Another movement was detected in the cryptocurrency wallets of Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin. Here are the details.
There is a new development regarding the Ethereum Foundation and ETH co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who has been in the news with his Ethereum (ETH) sales in recent weeks.
The wallet address starting with 0xD04d, thought to belong to Buterin, recently sent 1,300 ETH to the wallet address starting with 0x5567. The dollar equivalent of the amount was $3.17 million.
After that, wallet address 0x5567 deposited 74.17 of these assets, or $181,000, to Paxos.
The first wallet, believed to belong to Vitalik Buterin, had not transferred any assets for 348 days.
According to Onchain data, Buterin has $607 million in assets at the time of writing, almost all of which are in his wallet as ETH.
The Ethereum founder sells all the gift altcoins sent to him and says he donated them.
However, Buterin states that he has not sold ETH for personal purposes for a long time, and that all sales and transfers made from his addresses are either donations or investments in projects that he thinks are promising.
