Quick Take Treasure DAO members approve migrating from Arbitrum to ZKsync Mainnet “to launch within the next 1.5 to 2 months,” the DAO said.
Treasure DAO members have "overwhelmingly" voted to approve a plan to migrate the blockchain gaming ecosystem from Arbitrum ARB -0.53% to ZKsync ZK +3.34% , the organization announced Monday.
"Treasure will be bringing the decentralized game console to the Elastic Chain," the decentralized autonomous organization said in a post to X. "The community has voted overwhelmingly in favor (99.5%) to launch the Treasure L2 as part of the ZKsync ecosystem."
Earlier this month, the proposal was submitted to DAO members. The proposal outlined "plans to launch the Treasure chain as an L2 leveraging ZKsync’s ZK Stack technology, instead of Arbitrum Orbit as previously planned," according to a statement.
"A new public testnet called 'Topaz' is in progress to being launched," Treasure DAO also said Monday. "This will enable games and players to begin exploring and building within the new environment. Mainnet is targeted to launch within the next 1.5 to 2 months."
"The token swap will be executed between Treasure and the ZKsync Foundation in the coming days," the DAO also said.
Treasure DAO added that it is working "closely" to assist its more than 10 blockchain games on its web3 gaming console with the transition.
