• Hamster Kombat banned over 2.3 million accounts, seizing 6.8 billion tokens from cheaters and redistributing half to honest players.
  • Players exploited Hamster Kombat’s referral system, with some linking hundreds of accounts to one Binance address to gain rewards.
  • Hamster Kombat faced criticism for changing achievement criteria and introducing unannounced token vesting, frustrating many users.

Hamster Kombat, a popular gaming platform, recently banned over 2.3 million accounts for cheating. These accounts were linked to fraudulent activities, including automated software that gave users unfair advantages.

Hamster Kombat has been monitoring user behavior for months, focusing on patterns such as synchronized logins and pixel-tapping across multiple accounts.

Hamster Kombat Tokens Seized and Redistributed

The company took away 6.8 billion tokens from these cheaters. According to Hamster, 50% of these tokens have been distributed among honest players ahead of its token launch on September 26 . The other half will be burned, reducing the token supply to protect the community from market manipulation.

👿 We’ve banned over 2.3 million cheaters — enough to fill the entire city of Rome!

Despite these efforts, some users argue that Hamster’s system played a role in enabling cheating. For instance, one user connected over 400 accounts to a single Binance address, exploiting the referral system for personal gain. Others invited nearly 2,000 friends to earn additional rewards, all flagged by the anti-cheat system.

Promises Not Kept

Criticism also centers around Hamster Kombat’s changing criteria for in-game achievements. Initially, they promised the PPH (Points Per Hour) system would be the main measure of success.

However, they shifted to using Keys, which could be collected by downloading the game through the Play Store or App Store. Many players wasted significant time collecting these Keys, only to later discover that referrals had a larger impact.

Vesting Tokens, Unannounced Changes

Another point of argument is the sudden introduction of vesting for tokens. This move, which was not part of the original plan, caught many by surprise. The lack of transparency from Hamster Kombat led to frustration among users, especially those who had heavily invested in the game.

Several influencers and YouTubers promoted Hamster Kombat, promising users substantial airdrops. These individuals are now facing backlash from the community for spreading misleading information. Some influencers guaranteed cash in profits, yet failed to hold the company accountable when it became clear that such rewards were unrealistic.

While Hamster Kombat has taken significant steps to remove cheaters and protect its honest users, it cannot ignore its role in creating loopholes. The system’s structure allowed for exploitation, and the lack of transparency has damaged trust. Consequently, both the company and influencers must now regain the community’s faith.
