TON Blockchain Gears Up for Largest Crypto Onboarding Ever with Hamster Kombat’s 131 Million User Airdrop
The Open Network (TON), designed as a decentralized network to support various applications, has announced that it is preparing for what is set to be the largest crypto event onboarding. The layer 1 blockchain has experienced several crypto projects leveraging its capabilities, which has resulted in significant traffic for the network.
TON stated on its X handle that the crypto industry is about to witness what would be the largest crypto integration ever, as it revealed the record traffic and user engagement it has been garnering. This week, TON TON $5.84 24h volatility: 2.7% Market cap: $14.81 B Vol. 24h: $357.55 M set a new traffic record, which could be attributed to the launch of new projects, such as Catizen, Rocky Rabbit, Wat Bird, and now Hamster Kombat.
On September 20, Catizen, a play-to-earn game that operates on the TON, officially launched with 18 million monthly active users (MAU). This was followed by Rocky Rabbit, also with 18 million MAU, and Wat Bird, with 12 million MAU on September 23. Despite the high number of users and interactions, TON could still handle them all smoothly.
Hamster Kombat Poised for Historic Token Launch
However, TON will face its biggest challenge as Hamster Kombat kicks off its airdrop to over 131 million qualified users. The play-to-earn game has amassed more than 300 million users since its launch in March; this event is set to make it the largest token launch ever in the history of cryptocurrency.
TON blockchain revealed that the large number of airdrops comes with technical pressures that could lead to technical issues. However, they are prepared for these challenges; the Core Development team has developed Mintless Jettons technology to mitigate technical issues.
This new technology allows for instant distribution of tokens to millions of users with a gas fee below $1. What is being carried out on the TON blockchain has never been seen in the crypto space, which makes it more evident that TON is poised to ensure that cryptocurrency is available for everyone.
The Hamster Kombat listing is scheduled for today, September 26, at 12 p.m. UTC. Users who are yet to withdraw their tokens can still do so using two available options ‘Direct Claim’ and ‘Crypto Exchange Ebi’.
New Earning Opportunities Emerge for Hamster Kombat Users
While Hamster prepares for the largest token launch ever on TON network, they have also announced that the “$HMSTR Super Earn” program has launched on Binance, featuring “$HMSTR Locked Products” available for investment.
This project has a reward pool of 100,000,000 HMSTR tokens for participants. This new project provides users with another means to earn on the platform while helping it grow. Users can participate by logging in to their Binance account.
