Bitcoin inscription art will be auctioned for the first time at Christie's
According to Decrypt, the dynamic Bitcoin inscription artwork "Ascend" will participate in Christie's live auction in London on October 10th. This work is the only digital art piece in this auction and also the first dynamic Bitcoin inscription artwork to appear at Christie's.
It is reported that this work depicts the beauty of decay of Tskaltubo sanatorium in Georgia, which was a famous health resort during Soviet times, built between 1952 and 1962, now it has become ruins. The work uses Ordinals protocol inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain, switching between day and night modes through a 30-minute transition process reflecting real-time conditions in Georgia.
