Scam Alert! CoinMarketCap Warns of Fake CMC Token
Cryptocurrency tracking website CoinMarketCap has issued a stern warning about fraudulent promotions involving “CMC-Tokens.” The company clarified that it does not have its own token or coin, and any promotion claiming otherwise is a scam.
The company has seen an increase in fake promotions and scams targeting users. These scams often involve promises of high returns or giveaways. Users are urged to be cautious and avoid clicking on suspicious links or sharing personal information.
In response to the scam alert, Twitter users have begun asking, wen token? indicating crypto community actually wants a CMC token.
