Chainlink Dominates ERC-20 Development Activity, Leaving Ethereum Behind
Chainlink (LINK) has emerged as the leading ERC-20 project in terms of development activity, as reported by crypto analytics platform Santiment.
In the past month, Chainlink achieved an impressive 649 notable GitHub events, nearly double that of Ethereum ( ETH ), which recorded 342.2 events.
This marks a continuation of Chainlink’s strong performance, having also ranked first in June, July, and September.
Following Chainlink, Status (SNT) secured the third spot with 270.57 events.
Status aims to provide a secure messaging platform, crypto wallet, and web3 browser using a peer-to-peer protocol and end-to-end encryption.
It’s important to note that Santiment employs a refined methodology to track GitHub activities, excluding routine updates and focusing on significant contributions.
The analytics firm has indicated that robust development activity typically signals developer confidence in a project, suggesting a lower risk of potential exit scams.
