Wood Sister talks about the US election and Trump's economic policies: The market likes tax cuts
Cathy Wood, the founder of Ark Investment Management and a star fund manager in the United States, pointed out that there is a correlation between the performance of the S&P 500 index and Trump's approval ratings, and emphasized several key economic policies that could affect the market. She is particularly concerned about Trump's positions on taxation, tariffs, and monetary policy. Wood explained, "The market likes tax cuts and has been worried that the tax cuts in the original tax bill passed during Trump's term will expire at the end of 25 years." She added that Trump has expressed support for extending these tax cuts and introducing additional personal and corporate tax cuts.
