Former Alameda CEO to begin prison sentence on November 7
Caroline Ellison, former CEO of Alameda Research, is expected to be imprisoned on November 7th for her involvement in criminal activities related to the cryptocurrency exchange FTX. As of the publication of this article, the US Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) website states that Ellison has not been detained, but provides her prisoner number as well as her age, race, and gender. On September 24th, US District Judge Lewis Kaplan sentenced Ellison to two years in prison, and she is expected to surrender on November 7th at the earliest.
