OSL Group also launches its global expansion strategy for 2024, revolving around four strategic pillars: geographic expansion, service innovation, digital finance synergy, and unwavering compliance.

  • OpenSea is working to develop a platform upgrade called OpenSea 2.0. The company has reimagined its operating culture, product, and tech from the ground up and is re-orienting its team around OpenSea 2.0.
  • APE, AXS, and INJ saw large unlocks this week, for a total of around $22.78 million (4.23% of circulating supply), $28.06 million (2.53% of circulating supply), and $140 million (4.33% of circulating supply) respectively.
  • CoinShares: The average mining cost per Bitcoin is expected to be $37,856 after the halving, meaning the price of Bitcoin would need to stay above $40,000 after the halving to be profitable for most miners.
  • Base announces key dates for migration from Goerli to Sepolia. Goerli will be sunset on February 9, 2024.

  • The Google Play Store in India takes down nine exchanges, including Binance, Kraken, HTX, Gate, Bittrex, and Bitfinex. The news comes on the heels of the Apple App Store in India taking down the apps of as many as eight crypto exchanges in India, including Binance, Kraken, MEXC, and KuCoin.The Financial Intelligence Unit – India (FIU-IND) issued violation notices to nine crypto firms in late December 2023. The FIU-IND alleges that the companies failed to comply with India's anti-money laundering regulations.
  • The first Bitcoin-settled lease agreement in Argentina is signed in the city of Rosario. The agreement stipulates that the tenant pays the landlord the equivalent of 100 USDT in Bitcoin each month, using local crypto exchange Fiwind as the reference price provider for settlement.
