Slow Mist: Total losses from security incidents exceed $120 million this week
SlowMist's weekly security report showed that from January 28 to February 3, 2024, total losses due to security incidents exceeded $120 million, mainly from direct attacks on financial agreements and vulnerabilities across social and communication platforms. Major security incidents include: Abracadabra Money (MIM_Spell) suffered from security vulnerabilities, resulting in a loss of $6.5 million. Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen's personal wallet was unauthorized accessed, resulting in the theft of 213 million XRP, worth about $112.5 million. Goleado Finance fell victim to a flash loan attack, resulting in a loss of 7.9 million CFX ($1.7 million).
