The protocol boasts a variety of features, including the ability for users to convert assets across blockchains, flexible fee payment options, a modular mesh network for enhanced scalability, a cross-chain settlement engine to ensure smooth transactions, a proprietary pathfinder algorithm for ideal cross-chain exchanges, and SDKs for developers to build complex cross-chain blockchain applications. Additionally, the Router Protocol utilizes DFYN AMM as a fallback source during a lack of stable assets, and it is optimized to work with the internal DEX, DFYN Exchange, to ensure complete transactions.

What is the ROUTE Token?

The Router Protocol includes its own token, ROUTE, which gives users the ability to participate in governance by voting on proposals for protocol changes. When users make cross-chain transactions, the protocol imposes transaction fees that are divided between validators and liquidity providers. Those who pay the fees with ROUTE tokens receive a 50% discount. Additionally, users can pay for both gas and transaction fees using ROUTE tokens.
